The blade of this large workhorse consists of an extremely complex, multi-bar Damascus steel. The back consists of six mutually twisted sticks of mosaic damascus. The soled cutting edge is a torsion Damascus bar made of the highly wear-resistant steels 1.2562, TNT666 in combination with the tough nickel steel 1.5634.
This knife is one of the most elaborate that I have forged in several years and is the showpiece of the current batch.
The geometry corresponds to a workhorse with a pronounced taper. The blade is ground convex. The tip is finely ground but not too sensitive. The knife is equally suitable for all cutting techniques.
The handle is made of desert ironwood with a fantastic pattern. The spacer is made of purple stabilized poplar wood and the end plate is made of mosaic damascus.
