An elegant 25cm laser with a rose damascus blade made of 10 different steels. Read more..
This elegant 25cm laser has a rose damascus steel blade made from 10 different steels. For this pattern welded steel, I used all suitable knife steels that my stock has to offer. That's why I called it "Across the Garden". It is characterized by a high hardness of 66 hrc (incl. deep freeze treatment) and high wear resistance. Of course, the Damascus steel was welded with the complete exclusion of oxygen and forged at the optimum temperature and deformation.
The geometry of the blade corresponds to that of a laser, but still has certain power reserves. The knife has a very high cutting ability. The cutting edge is ground so thin over its entire length that it bends over the fingernail. The cutting edge has a larger flat spot, the tip is slightly below center. Despite the flat spot, the blade is suitable for all cutting techniques.
The octagonal handle is made of desert ironwood and bronze.
